  • Rooms In Japan are Compact in comparison to other countries

  • Triple room does not mean three separate beds. It can be one Queen Bed + 1 Roll Over Bed or Sofa Bed

  • In Japan, Double room offered are usually 2 separate beds that can be connected together

  • Due to Traffic Restrictions, Roadblocks / Constructions Coach Movement can be restricted, and we may have to modify the itinerary but will try to cover all aspects of the itinerary.

  • Coach hours in Japan are restricted to 11 hours from day start to end. The itinerary will be managed as per this timings & Guests are requested to follow the guidelines.

The highlight of any Japan tour is undoubtedly the cherry blossom season.

Japan: Cherry blossoms typically bloom from late March to early April, with peak bloom varying by region.

Day - 1

Arrive Tokyo

Welcome to the vibrant city of Tokyo! After clearing immigration and customs, you’ll meet your Mantra Holidays Tour Manager who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. (Check-in after 3 PM.)

This evening, experience the iconic Shibuya Crossing, known for its dazzling lights and the incredible sight of thousands of people crossing simultaneously.

Day - 2

Tokyo City Tour – Team Lab Planet

After breakfast, begin your Tokyo city tour with a visit to the Imperial Palace, the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. Continue to the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest structure in Japan, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the vast Tokyo skyline from its impressive observation deck.

Next, visit Asakusa Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temple. Enjoy some free time at the nearby Nakamise Shopping Arcade, where you can browse local stores or sample popular Japanese street food.

After lunch, explore the fascinating digital art museum TeamLab Planets. This immersive experience features large-scale interactive installations that use cutting-edge digital technology. Walk through water, step into mesmerizing light illusions, and wander through a garden where you become one with the flowers. The facility includes four major artwork spaces and two unique gardens.

Day - 3

Tokyo – Mt. Fuji & Hakone – Tokyo

After breakfast, embark on a dynamic full-day excursion to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. Mt. Fuji—affectionately known as Fuji-san—is an active volcano located about 100 km southwest of Tokyo and is Japan’s tallest peak at 3,776 meters.

Weather permitting, drive up to the 5th Station, the highest point accessible by vehicle, where you can enjoy stunning views and crisp mountain air.

Continue to Hakone and experience breathtaking panoramas as you ride the Hakone Sky Gondola. Later, enjoy a scenic and memorable cruise on Lake Ashi aboard the iconic Pirate Boat, offering picturesque views of the surrounding mountains.

In the evening, return to Tokyo for your overnight stay.

Day - 4

Tokyo – Nagoya – Toyota Commemorative Museum – SC Maglev & Railway Park

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and board the bullet train to Nagoya, Japan’s fourth-largest city—surrounded by sea, mountains, and rivers, and renowned as a major manufacturing hub.

Upon arrival, visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, also known as the Toyota Techno Museum. Explore the fascinating history of Toyota, view rare and historic vehicle models, and learn about the company’s technological evolution.

Next, visit the SCMaglev and Railway Park, operated by the Central Japan Railway Company. This impressive museum highlights Japan’s advancements in high-speed rail. View actual trains on display, including:
• Historic steam locomotives
• Record-setting experimental Shinkansen (bullet trains)
• The latest magnetic levitation (Maglev) trains

Several dozen retired train cars are exhibited—many accessible from the inside or even underneath—accompanied by detailed explanations of their components, operations, and maintenance. The museum also features one of Japan’s largest train dioramas, showcasing miniature trains traveling through detailed recreations of Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.

Later, stop for photos with the backdrop of Mirai Tower, Oasis 21, and the popular @NAGOYA sign.

After dinner, check in to your hotel in Nagoya

Day - 5

Nagoya – Nara Deer Park – Todaiji Temple – Osaka

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital and a city rich in cultural heritage.

Begin with a visit to the famous Nara Deer Park, home to hundreds of freely roaming deer, regarded as messengers of the gods in Shinto tradition. Enjoy interacting with these friendly creatures in a serene natural setting.

Continue to the magnificent Todaiji Temple, one of Japan’s most historically significant temples and home to the Great Buddha (Daibutsu), one of the largest bronze statues of Buddha in the world.

You will also have the unique opportunity to dress in an authentic Kimono, where you can experience traditional Japanese attire and learn about the cultural history and symbolism behind this iconic garment.

Later, proceed to Osaka and check in to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day - 6

Osaka – Kiyomizudera Temple – Kinkaku-ji – Arashiyama – Osaka

After breakfast, depart for Kyoto, the former capital of Japan, renowned for its timeless beauty, classical Buddhist temples, serene gardens, imperial heritage, Shinto shrines, and well-preserved traditional wooden houses.

Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Kiyomizudera Temple, an iconic Buddhist temple in eastern Kyoto, celebrated for its wooden stage that offers panoramic views of the city. Following this, stroll through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, picturesque pedestrian streets lined with traditional shops, teahouses, and charming old-world architecture—especially stunning during the cherry blossom season.

After lunch, experience an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony, an elegant ritual that reflects centuries of cultural tradition.

Continue to Arashiyama, where you will visit the famous Bamboo Forest and its scenic groves—one of Kyoto’s most photographed locations due to its tranquil and ethereal atmosphere.

Finally, visit the revered Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates leading up the sacred Mount Inari. This is one of Japan’s most important Shinto shrines.

Return to Osaka for an overnight stay.

Day - 7

Osaka – Day Trip to Hiroshima (Bullet Train) – Osaka

After breakfast, experience Japan’s world-famous Shinkansen (Bullet Train) as you travel from Osaka to Hiroshima, reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h with remarkable comfort and precision.

Hiroshima, a modern city on Japan’s Honshu Island, is known worldwide for its poignant history, having been largely destroyed by an atomic bomb during World War II. Upon arrival, take a ferry to Miyajima Island, renowned for its natural beauty and cultural significance.

Visit the iconic Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its “floating” torii gate that appears to rise from the sea during high tide. Later, proceed to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, an important symbol of peace and resilience.

In the evening, return to Osaka by bullet train for your overnight stay.

Day - 8

Osaka Castle (Outside) – Umeda Sky Building – Shopping

Today, after breakfast, begin your guided tour of Osaka. Start with a photo stop at the legendary Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most celebrated landmarks, which played a crucial role in the unification of Japan during the 16th century.

Next, visit the Floating Garden Observatory in the Umeda Sky Building, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the Osaka cityscape from a height of 170 meters.

Later, enjoy free time for shopping at Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, two of Osaka’s most vibrant districts known for fashion, entertainment, and street food. Overnight in Osaka.

Osaka

After enjoying breakfast, complete your check-out formalities and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
